ARTIST STATEMENT

My generation was molded in a world awash with vibrant colors, boundless joy, and profound meaning. Life unfolded before us like an enchanting fantasy, offering us the canvas to shape our own futures. However, as we journeyed through the passage of time and maturity, I became acutely aware that this world, brimming with affluence and happiness, also held its share of trials, setbacks, and transformative experiences that continue to define and leave their indelible marks upon us. My artistic work stands as a testament to this unfolding journey-a journey that begins with teddy bears, symbols of innocence and pure-hearted nobility, now bearing the scars of life's trials, evident in their seams and buttons. Yet, it also encompasses paper boats, symbols of adventure and exploration, promising to transport us to realms previously unimagined. Throughout it all, I never ceased to envision and express these experiences in vivid colors and dynamic shapes. The vitality of color and the unpredictability of my artistic language serve as a near-gestural expression of the boundless creative energy I aim to convey-a creative energy that represents both the inaugural and concluding testament of life itself. Within its embrace, we navigate and traverse the vast expanse of our existence, acutely aware of our inherent limitations and smallness in the grand scheme of things.
