CSB Fine Arts Presents “Outside My Window”
In partnership with the Matheny Arts Access Program
December 4 – 24, 2025 | DUMBO, Brooklyn
CSB Fine Arts is proud to announce Outside My Window, a special exhibition created in partnership with the Matheny Arts Access Program, a groundbreaking fine arts initiative for artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities based in Peapack, New Jersey. The exhibition will be on view from December 4 to 24 at the gallery’s DUMBO location.
Outside My Window invites visitors into the vivid inner worlds of 12 artists whose work reflects a wide range of personal perspectives, memories, emotions, and imagined spaces. The exhibition offers intimate glimpses into how each artist interprets the world around them - whether it’s something seen, remembered, or felt.
The Matheny Arts Access Program empowers artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities to create work that is entirely their own. Every piece in this exhibition is the result of the artist’s independent choices, supported through a process that prioritizes autonomy, creative freedom, and self-expression. Through color, line, texture, and composition, the artists share what captures their attention and inspires them, offering a direct window into their experiences.
This exhibition celebrates the power of art to broaden how we see one another and the world. Together, these works remind us that no two ways of seeing are the same, and that creativity thrives in every circumstance when artists are given the opportunity to fully express themselves.
Exhibiting Artists:
Cheryl Chapin, Jessica Evans, Philip Fisher, Karen Frascella, Brad Goldman, Bari Kim Goldrosen, Joshua Handler, Ellen Kane, Andy Lash, Amy Myers, Chris Palmer, Nancy Soto
Outside My Window marks CSB Fine Arts’ first collaboration with the Matheny Arts Access Program and reflects the gallery’s commitment to showcasing diverse and meaningful artistic voices within the contemporary art landscape.
